I spent a partial day of Memorial Weekend 2010 in Muir Woods National Monument. This is not my first time visiting a redwood forest, but seeing the magnificence of these trees is a experience not to be missed.

We drove into Mill Valley and stopped at a free parking lot to catch the Route 66 Muir Woods Shuttle. It costs a mere $3 per person for a round trip bus ride.
